The BEDSLIDE 600 Slim is designed to make accessing your truck bed easier, safer, and more efficient. With its heavy-duty steel frame and smooth roller system, the 600 Slim transforms your truck bed into a slide-out workspace.

While mounting locations may vary slightly depending on your truck model, the installation process follows a straightforward sequence.

This guide walks you through the major installation steps to help you install your BEDSLIDE 600 Slim confidently and correctly.

Before You Begin

Team Lift Required

The BEDSLIDE unit is heavy and requires two people for lifting;

Tools Required:
  • 1/2” wrench & socket
  • 9/16” wrench & socket
  • 1/8” Allen key
  • Utility knife
Hardware Included:
  • (4) Mount Block Kits
  • (4) D-Ring Tie-Down Kits
  • (4) 5/16” x 2” bolts
  • (4) Riv Nut Anchors
  • Riv Nut Tool
  • Loctite packet
Ensure the truck bed is clean and free of cargo before installation

Step 1: Insert Mount Blocks into the Bedtrax (Rear Handle End)
  • Using the 1/8” Allen key:
  • Loosen the set screws on both plastic end caps at the rear (tailgate end).
  • Remove the end caps.
  • Insert two mount blocks down each side of the Bedtrax (four total).
  • Reinstall the plastic end caps.
  • Tighten set screws securely
  • This prepares the unit for mounting.
Step 2: Position the BEDSLIDE in the Truck Bed
  • Place the assembled BEDSLIDE in your truck bed in your preferred position:
    • Driver's side
    • Center
    • Passenger side
  • Before proceeding:
    • Close the tailgate to confirm proper clearance.
    • Slide the BEDSLIDE open to ensure it does not contact the tailgate when extended
    • Proper positioning now prevents interference issues later.
Step 3: Separate the Sliding Top Frame from the Base
  • Team lift required for this step.
  • Slowly slide the top tray outward from the closed position.
  • Fully extend the BEDSLIDE.
  • Lift the top frame and deck up and out.
  • The welded safety stops must clear the rear roller bearings and spacer guides for removal
  • Mark the mounting hole locations at:
    • Cab end
    • Center cross member
    • Use the hole that rests on the highest part of the truck bed floor
    • Avoid shifting hole placement after marking.
Step 4: Install Riv Nuts
  • Move the base frame aside to access the marked holes.
  • Drill through the truck bed using a 1/2” drill bit.
  • Insert a 5/16” x 2” bolt through the riv nut tool and into a riv nut anchor.
  • Insert the assembly into the drilled hole.
  • Hold the riv nut tool with a 1/2” wrench.
  • Tighten the bolt until the riv nut compresses and secures under the bed
  • Repeat for all four mounting points.
Do not overtighten.
Do not use air impact tools

Step 5: Reinstall the Base Frame and Bolt Down
  • Place the base frame back into position.
  • Align each mounting hole with the installed riv nuts and secure using the supplied 5/16” x 2” bolts
  • Tighten securely.
Step 6: Reinstall the Sliding Top Frame and Deck
  • Team lift required again.
  • Place the top sliding frame over the rear bearings.
  • Carefully lower it into position.
  • Slide forward into the stowed (closed) position
  • Ensure smooth operation before proceeding.
Step 7: Remove Protective Film
  • Carefully peel away the protective film from the tie-down rails.
  • If any decal lettering lifts:
  • Press it back into place.
  • Rub firmly with a card (like a bank card) or your hand to ensure adhesion
